Change?  Maybe we should take a second look at the accomplishments of GW's administration and what they've accomplished?

The Democrats claim that they are upset with the Bush Administration and they do not want four more years of the same.  This means they no longer want to have anything to do with the Bush Administration’s policies and practices.  In other words:

1.    They no longer want a President that has given more money to historical black colleges than any other President in United States history.

2.    They no longer want a President that has appointed more African Americans, minorities and women to the highest posts in government than any other president in U.S. History.

3.    They no longer want a president that has given more money than any other President to solve the problem of AIDS in Africa.

4.    They no longer want a President that has improved the test scores of blacks and Latino students in the area of reading and math through the No Child Left Behind Program.

5.    They no longer want a President that will work hard to provide funds for black churches to improve the conditions in the inner-city through his Faith-Based Initiative Program.

6.    They no longer want a President whose administration up to 2006, resulted in the lowest percentages of unemployed blacks in 40 years.

7.    They no longer want a President who will re-open old Civil Rights Cases like the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing and get long awaited convictions.

8.    They no longer want a President that will re-opened other Civil Rights Cases like the Emmett Till case, to achieve justice.

9.    They no longer want a President that supported the Jena 6 and one that threatened to bring Civil Rights lawsuits against the local Prosecutor if he continued to bring charges against the six black students in the case.

10.     They no longer want a President who would fight for social security reform so that African Americans who  are known to die pre-maturely before ever collecting Social Security would be able to have complete control over their money rather than the government controlling it and spending it.

11.     They no longer want a President that would push for vouchers and chartered schools so that African American parents from the inner-city schools would have a choice of which schools to send their children.

12.     They no longer wanted a president that would fund and approve projects like The African American Museum that would be two football fields long or a President that would fund the Memorial Park for Rosa Parks.

13.     They no longer wanted a President that would honor Black Americans and give recognitions to events in black history as President Bush did some 93 times during his administration.

14.     They no longer wanted a President that would provide the victims of Katrina federal land grants to build their own homes and over 100 billion dollars to rebuild their communities.

15.     They no longer wanted a President that allocated more entitlement money for the poor that any other president in U.S. History.

16.     They no longer wanted a President that would fight for health care for poor children by vetoing a Bill that would extend government funded health care coverage to families making $83,000 per year.

17.     The no longer wanted a President that seek to convict corporate executives for white collar crimes and insider trading, like the executives of Enron and World Com and Martha Stewart.

18.     When they said they did not want four more years of the same, they meant they no longer wanted a President that will tell the NAACP that Republicans and Democrats must do something to earn the black vote.

19.     It meant that they no longer wanted a President that who wants to stop Judges from legislating from bench in cases involving Abortions, Marriage and Religious expressions.

20.     They no longer want a President that supports leaving God in our Pledge of Allegiance and the Oath of the Boys Scout.

21.     They longer wanted a President that would allow churches that receive government funding to use their denomination’s doctrine has part of the hiring criteria.

22.     They no longer wanted a President that would push for funding to purchase better equipment for our soldiers.

23.     They no longer wanted a President that would authorized the firing one of the top commands in the military because of the poor services and conditions in the Walter Reed Veteran Hospital.

24.     They no longer wanted a President that would appeal to the United Nation Security Council to act to stop the genocide in various African Nations.

25.     They no longer wanted a President that would condemn Russia for invading a sovereign Republic like Georgia.

26.     They no longer wanted a President that would fight terrorism overseas rather than to fight them on our own soil.

27.     They no longer wanted a President that would remove a rogue leader like Saddam Hussein, whom President Clinton and Madeline Albright said, would use “nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies, and one that “threatens the well-being of his people, the peace of his region and the security of the world.” (December 16, 1998).

28.     They no longer want a President that would get bi-partisan congressional approval along with the military support of other allied nations to remove a rogue leader like Saddam, after he had violated 17 UN Security Council Resolutions (in 11 years) and after the that same Security Council passed Resolution 1441, authorizing the President to take such action.

29.     They no longer wanted a President who not only removed Saddam, but captured him and see to it that he paid for his crimes.

30.     They no longer wanted a President that captured key Al Qaeda leaders and killed others that were tied to 9-11.

31.     They no longer wanted a President that would condemn Iran and Syria for supporting terrorism.

32.     They no longer wanted a President that has prevented terrorist attacks from hitting American soil since 9-11.

33.     They no longer wanted a President that would solicit the support of China, Japan and other countries in the region to encourage North Korea to stop their nuclear program.

34.     They no longer wanted a President to solicit the support of Russia and other UN Security Council members to pressure Iran to stop their nuclear program.

35.     They no longer wanted a President that encouraged Off Shore Drilling and the production of alternative fuels so we would be less dependent on Middle Eastern Oil.

They don’t want four more years of this.  That’s sad.
